  • Additional Information

Comfort Packs for Children Affected by the Cyclone

This is not charity. This is preventative mental healthcare.

Thousands of children across Sri Lanka were affected by the cyclone.

Many are still carrying fear, stress, and shock — long after the floods cleared.

If we don’t act now, an entire generation risks growing up operating from trauma instead of resilience.

    👉 Contribute a Comfort Pack (Rs. 1,000)

⚠️ This is about our children’s future

Children who experience unprocessed fear early in life are more likely to struggle with anxiety, poor concentration, and emotional regulation later on.

This campaign exists to interrupt trauma early — gently, practically, and at scale.

    IMAGINE BEING A CHILD WHO…

    • Sleeps on a cold classroom floor
    • Is surrounded by strangers
    • Is bitten by mosquitoes all night
    • Has lost their home, toys, clothes — even pets
    • Has no idea when life will feel normal again

This is what many children experienced after the cyclone.

Nila and the Stormlight was created to help children feel safe, calm, and hopeful again — using story, imagination, and gentle tools they can understand.
